PUBG Mobile X Dragon Ball collaboration 2023 With 2.7 Update Pubg mobile mode Dragon Ball

PUBG Mobile made an official announcement about their collaboration with Dragon Ball, one of the world's most influential anime franchises. This partnership followed Dragon Ball's collaboration with Fortnite, which introduced character skins based on the anime in the game. However, PUBG Mobile clarified that the collaboration would not be available in the popular mobile battle royale until the following year. The recently released 2.6 update did not include the Dragon Ball content, which currently features the Dinoground theme on classic maps. Nonetheless, if the rumors are accurate, officials are planning to release Dragon Ball content with the upcoming 2.7 update. This update is expected to introduce a Dragon Ball Discovery event and bring themed changes to the classic battle royale maps.

About PUBG Mobile x Dragon Ball collaboration:

The collaboration was officially announced through a tweet, coinciding with the release of Dragon Ball Super: SUPER HERO, the franchise's latest movie. The movie focused on less popular characters such as Gohan, Piccolo, and Pan, but still managed to earn over $100 million at the global box office. However, it is unlikely that the collaboration in PUBG Mobile will be limited to these few characters.

Leaked information from data miners and popular YouTubers who report on these matters suggests that PUBG Mobile will introduce purchasable skins of popular characters from the Dragon Ball franchise. Some of these characters are expected to come with iconic emotes, such as power-ups and fusion dances. Last year, the developers released a Google form where they asked the audience to vote for the characters they would like to see in the collaboration. The list of characters included in the form is as follows:

  • Son Goku
  • Vegeta
  • Trunks
  • Gohan
  • Piccolo
  • Bulma
  • Frieza
  • Cell

Most of these characters are likely to appear in the game during the upcoming collaboration. However, it should be noted that based on past experiences, players may need to spend a significant amount to acquire these skins.
